GCX InsightView
AI Assistance, Reporting and Insight
Ask. Do Not Hunt.
GCX InsightView is the AI assistance and reporting layer of GCX One. Genie is its voice: a floating assistant panel on every screen that answers questions about alarms and system state in plain language, and carries out real work — opening and closing tickets, submitting VPN requests, starting a device-creation flow — with an approval step before anything is applied. Alongside it sit the reporting surfaces that turn platform activity into something a customer can be shown.

Key capabilities
- Plain-language questions about alarms, cameras and system state, answered on the screen you are already on
- Ticket work from the chat: open, check status, draft a reply, or close by number, each with a confirmation step
- OpenVPN requests prepared from a short set of details and presented for review before submission
- Device creation started from the chat, with the standard configuration form opening once approved
- Scheduled customer-facing reports for camera estate health, separate from the live internal dashboard
Primary use cases
- Operators who lose minutes per shift hunting through screens for a number they could have asked for
- Administrators fielding routine requests that have a correct answer and no judgement in them
- Installers and technicians who need setup guidance while standing in front of the device
- Account reviews, where the deliverable is a timestamped record rather than a live screen

Task
Ask about the estate
Alarm counts, camera state, system data — asked in plain language and answered in the panel without leaving the screen.
- Best for: the question you would otherwise open three tabs to answer
Task
Work a ticket
Open, check, reply to or close a ticket by number. Genie drafts, shows the full action, and waits for approval.
- Best for: routine support traffic during a shift
Task
Request VPN access
Provide the user email, ticket title, device IP and routing model; Genie assembles the request and presents it for review.
- Best for: access requests that are otherwise a form and a wait
Task
Add a device
Pick the device type in chat, approve, and the standard configuration form opens ready for connection details.
- Best for: installers who know the device but not the menu path

- Adding Devices
- Starts the device-creation flow in chat; the standard configuration form opens on approval
- Approval Step
- Every action Genie prepares is shown in full and requires confirmation before it is applied
- Reject and Edit
- A prepared action can be edited or rejected rather than only accepted or abandoned
- Permissions
- Genie acts as the signed-in user and cannot reach anything that user could not reach directly
- Live Dashboard
- Real-time, for the internal team. Not stored, not shareable, and not a customer report
- System HealthCheck Reports
- Timestamped records of camera estate health, written for non-technical stakeholders, scheduled Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly or Monthly
- Daily Tiles Worth Reading
- Unhealthy Cameras, No Reference Images, Black Screen Cameras, and the Real versus False alarm ratio
- Natural-Language Reporting
- Datalake-backed reporting asked for in plain language rather than composed
- Predictive Diagnostics
- VPN Stability Score, Device Health Score, Operator Performance Index
- Autonomy
- None. Genie prepares and proposes; a person confirms. Nothing is submitted, replied to, created or closed without an explicit approval
- Scope
- InsightView explains and assists. It does not classify alarms, does not decide response, and does not replace the operator or the reporting the platform already produces
- Reporting Boundary
- A screenshot of the live dashboard is not a report. Send the scheduled report, which is timestamped and independent

Getting started
Genie is part of the platform and opens from the toolbar. What it can do for a given user is bounded by that user role.
- 01Open the panelClick the Genie icon in the top-right toolbar from any screen
- 02Ask something realUse Suggested topics, or type the question the way you would ask a colleague
- 03Review before approvingRead the prepared action in full, edit or reject it if it is not right, then approve
- 04Schedule the reportingSet the System HealthCheck report cadence per customer so the record exists before it is asked for
