HealthCheck
Automated Camera Health Monitoring
Verified. Proactive. Predictive.
HealthCheck automatically monitors every connected camera in your fleet. It verifies each camera is reachable, streaming, and delivering a valid image, so failed or degraded feeds are caught before an incident exposes the gap. HealthCheck is offered as three tiers: Basic, Plus, and Advanced. HealthCheck Advanced is licensed per camera stream.
Key capabilities
- Catches offline or degraded cameras automatically, with no manual spot-checks needed
- Settings configured at any level automatically apply down to individual cameras
- Built to scale, proven on fleets of more than 20,000 cameras across more than 2,900 sites
- Automated reporting supports SLA validation and compliance audits
Primary use cases
- Tamper and obstruction detection for vandalism-prone locations
- Pausing checks during scheduled maintenance windows to prevent false alarms
- Proactive alerting via technician call, SMS, email, or ticket escalation
- Extended monitoring coverage for mobile tower infrastructure (TowerGuard)

- Scope & Limitations
- Only white-hot and black-hot thermal color modes are supported; colorized (RGBT) thermal is not. Camera type, thermal versus optical, must be configured correctly or results will not be accurate. Any blacked-out or blurred region must be masked so it is excluded from the check. Unnatural angles, or cameras facing untextured or empty space, will be flagged as unhealthy. Fisheye lenses are not supported.
