GCXONE 1.1.0

GCXONE 1.1.0 introduces one-time-code sign-in, redesigned hierarchy dashboards, device groups in the video viewer, improved camera configuration, and a more complete tenant audit trail.

Sign in with a one-time code

You can now complete multi-factor authentication using a one-time verification code sent by SMS or email.

The Multi-Factor Authentication setting is also now correctly saved when inviting or editing users and is included with user invitations.

Redesigned hierarchy dashboards

Dashboards across your site hierarchy have been redesigned to give you a clearer view of system status and issues.

Each hierarchy level now includes:

  • KPI cards
  • Alarm trends
  • 24-hour activity profiles
  • Breakdown tabs
  • Device health
  • Camera health worklists
  • Event logs

A new Needs attention section highlights the most important issues within the selected time range and ranks them by priority.

KPI cards now use clearer number formatting and trend indicators. The isolated-devices card also shows the current status and the number of affected sensors.

Dashboard colours automatically follow your selected light or dark theme.

Device groups in the video viewer

Device groups, including towers, are now available directly in the video viewer's device tree.

You can:

  • Search for a device group by name.
  • Find groups through devices or sensors assigned to them.
  • Search for device groups from the main page header.
  • Activate or deactivate a device group from its overview panel.
  • Filter columns in device and device-group configuration tables.

Detect thermal and optical camera mismatches

Video Search can now detect when an event's footage does not match the camera's configured type.

For example, if footage appears thermal but the camera is configured as optical, GCXONE displays a warning above the video.

You can select Re-configure to correct the camera configuration without leaving the event.

If the configuration is intentional, you can dismiss the warning and choose Don't show again for that camera.

More device configuration options

Camera sensors now support additional configuration options for:

  • PTZ
  • Thermal
  • Audio
  • 360°

Eagle Eye cameras can now be connected using Eagle Eye sign-in through OAuth during device setup.

Nx Witness devices can also connect in cloud mode using the server ID and portal URL.

For Salvo devices, tower coordinates are now displayed on the map and in the video viewer header.

Expanded audit trail

GCXONE now records more detail about changes made through the tenant API.

Audit entries include:

  • Category and sub-category
  • Action
  • Resource
  • Data before the change
  • Data after the change

Audit entries preserve the tenant, user, category, action, and resource names as they were when the action occurred. This keeps historical records readable even if those items are renamed later.

Sensitive values in request bodies are masked before being stored.

Read-only API requests are not recorded unless the route is specifically configured for auditing. Actions performed through the NXGEN administration control panel remain outside the tenant audit trail.

Arm and disarm events now also display the correct entity name.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where searching the video viewer tree could cause the tree to hang or device-group branches to disappear.
  • Fixed the Multi-Factor Authentication setting on the Invite User and Edit User screens so changes are correctly applied when saved.
  • Fixed an issue where the MFA setting was not included in user invitations.
