More Detailed Tenant Audit Trail
Tenant API changes are recorded in the audit log with before-and-after data and the names as they were at the time.
What changed
- ImprovedTenant API changes are recorded in the audit log with before-and-after data, keeping the names of the tenant, user, category, action and resource.
- FixedAdministration control-panel actions are no longer written to the tenant audit trail.
- FixedArm and disarm audit entries show the correct entity name.
GCXONE now records more detail about changes made through the tenant API. Audit entries include the category and sub-category, the action, the resource, and the data before and after the change. They keep the tenant, user, category, action and resource names as they were when the action happened, so historical records stay readable after items are renamed.
Sensitive values in request bodies are masked before they are stored. Read-only API requests are not recorded unless the route is specifically configured for auditing, and actions performed through the NXGEN administration control panel stay outside the tenant audit trail. Arm and disarm events now show the correct entity name.
